Tiesitkö, että voit tehdä vaatehankinnoillasi myös hyvää? Yhdistää kivan tyylin ja hyvän mielen?
Saimme tutustua Jassen kanssa suomalaisen vaatemerkin, RIVA Clothingin tuotteisiin, ja valita
heidän hyväntekeväisyys mallistoistaan meitä eniten kiinnostavan. RIVA lahjoittaa syksyn mallistojensa jokaisesta myydystä paidasta 3 euroa hyväntekeväisyyteen. Kohteet ovat ilmastonsuojelu, mielenterveystyö, rescuekoirat, kiusaamisen vastainen työ ja saimaannorpat. Minkäs me sitten valitsemme omaksi kohteeksemme? No saimaan norpat tietenkin. Älä hyljeksi!
Mielestämme saimaannorppien suojelutyö on arvokasta ja haluamme ehdottomasti kannattaa sen tukemista. Norppa kun on yksi Suomen uhanalaisimpia eläimiä. Eivät muutkaan hyväntekeväisyys kohteet toki ole lainkaan huonoja, tärkeitä ihan kaikki. Mahtavaa, että voi olla tukemassa kohteita näinkin yksinkertaisella tavalla, kuin vaatteilla. Tällaisia kamppiksia olisi kiva nähdä enemmänkin.
”Älä hyljeksi” -tekstiilit herättivät heti meissä innostusta. Viininpunainen on tällä hetkellä itselläni suosikkiväri, joten valitsin itselleni sen värisen t-paidan. Paita on rento ja mukava päällä. Plussaa myös siitä, että paidan hiilijalanjälki on 90% pienempi, kuin tavallisen t-paidan. Materiaaliltaan se
on 100% puuvillaa.
Jassella oli RIVAN pehmeä collaripaita päällään, kun oltiin Avaimen keikalla Jyväskylässä. Paita herätti sielä paljon kiinnostusta, ja ottipa joku jopa kuvaakin paidasta! Niin huippu. Muutenkin paidasta on oltu kiinnostuneita ja kovasti tiedusteltu, mistä näin staileja paitoja oikein saa. Collari on ihanan pehmeää sisältä, tekisi mieli joskus ehkä vähän lainata tuota.. Materiaaliltaan se on 80% kampapuuvillaa ja 20% polyesteria. Paidat on painettu Hartolassa.
RIVA on perustettu kesällä 2016 ja sen takana toimivat kaksi opiskelijaa, Eeva ja Riku. He suunnittelevat itse printit ja kaikki tuotteet on valmistettu Fair Wear -sertifikaatin mukaisesti.
Tuotteissa on käytetty ympäristöystävällisiä materiaaleja ja valmistustapoja. Mahtavaa! Paidan pukiessa ylleen tulee hyvä mieli ja tekee mieli tehdä muutakin hyvää, auttaminen on IN.
Iskeekö tällainen vaatteiden ja hyväntekeväisyyden yhdistäminen, mikä olisi sun valintasi näistä hyväntekeväisyys kohteista?

Täytyy ehdottomasti tutustua tähän konseptiin. Itse tulisin koulukiusaamisen vastaista työtä, koska se kolahtaa täysin itseeni. Minua kun kiusattiin melkein koko peruskoulun ajan.
Itse olen valinnut nyt monena vuonna peräkkäin Hope-Yhdistyksen 🙂
Pyrin vaatteissa eettisyyteen ja ekologisuuteen. Tietty jos hyväntekeväisyyden nimissä voisi ostaa jonkin vaatteen jolle on aito tarve, niin miksei ? Lähtökohtaisesti lahjoitan mieluiten aikaa ja sitten rahaa.
Mutta mitä paidan väriin tulee, niin se on kyllä herkku! Mulle tulee aina syksyisin sellainen pakonomainen tarve kääriytyä kaikkeen viininpunaiseen ?
Ihana slogan! Hylkeet olisi ollut munkin valinta 🙂 Ehdottomasti olisin mielelläni mukana tällaisissa hyvän mielen kamppiksissa!
